Day 11 - Trinoma

2012 366 Days 366+ Pics Project

Day 11 - Trinoma
Canon EOS 550D
1/40 sec. exposure, f/8 aperture
ISO 1600
24mm focal length
11 photos stitched with Hugins Panorama Creator

It is never a good idea to shoot panoramic pictures of a mall or any high volume traffic area. You’d end up with repeating people or, worse, headless people.

Whoah. Nice panoramic pic! I don't have a fancy camera or software to do that kind of effect...

I used a point-and-shoot for my first panoramic pic. At the time, there was still no camera on the market with a panoramic feature. I just had to make sure that the camera had the same settings for all the pictures.
Hugin panorama creator is an open-source software for Linux. I don't remember the name of the software I used when I was still using Windows. But I do know it's also open source and freely downloadable.
If you're interested in making panoramic shots, send me a PM and I'll gladly run you through the process.
