This train is permanently on display at Riverbanks in Marikina City. The Riverbanks Complex was formerly the Universal Textile Mills plant, but I have no idea why they would have a train inside the compound.

I do have a suspicion about a possible former train line from Pasig City to San Mateo or up to Rodriguez (formerly Montalban). That would be the current Daang Bakal Street. Besides the name which literally translates to "steel" (or iron or metal) street, the Daang Bakal itself is narrow (barely two lanes) wide, and goes straight for most of its length.

I really have to go back to Riverbanks and take a better picture of this train.

I can't believe how angry I'm getting, thinking of all that potential wasted. If we built around these railroads and rehabilitated them instead of dismantling them, think of how our cities would look like now.

There is a railroad line from Santa Mesa to Rosario, Pasig where it will split into two lines, one will continue to Montalban and the other one to Antipolo.

On the Rosario-Montalban Line, only the Marikina station at Brgy. San Roque exists, the rest were gone.
